The third release in the “Dragons of the World” series is an amazing, shaped coin struck in a full ounce of highly pure 99.9% fine silver that features China’s fascinating Whiskered Dragon! The incredible design shows a dragon curling and coiling around a red-colored Pearl of Wisdom—the possession of which is a constant quest for China’s mythical dragons. If you look closely, you’ll see that the dragon’s eyes have also been selectively colorized in a reed hue. In Chinese mythology, the Whiskered Dragon holds a significant place in cultural traditions. Known as the Chinese Water Dragon, the Whiskered Dragon is characterized by long whiskers and vibrant green colorization. It is revered as a symbol of life, renewal, power, strength, and good fortune. It’s also believed to possess the ability to control the weather, bringing rain for agriculture, making it also a symbol of fertility and abundance.
