This is the uniquely designed and minted “Camouflage of Nature” Leopard (the 2nd issue in the series) ultra-high relief silver proof coin now fully gilded in 24K gold with select color for a radiant appearance. Struck from 5 oz of 99.9% pure silver, the Leopard employs a special minting technique that results in a mesmerizing optical illusion/3D effect.

The reverse of the coin features a mesmerizing optical illusion technique that conveys a wraparound effect made of spots that recall the theme of the feline fur, with the main figure of the leopard in the middle. In this design, the principal motif is even more coherent with the idea of the feline fur since the gold gilding offers a very pertinent coloration. The obverse of the coin features an abstract pattern at the bottom, transforming into an animalier pattern at the top and symbolizing the camouflage of nature. At the center of the obverse are located the Coat of Arms of Palau and the inscriptions: “CAMOUFLAGE OF NATURE,” “REPUBLIC OF PALAU” and “20$.”
