The reverse of the coin features a detailed depiction of a great house from the Chacoan people in Chaco Canyon, as it might have appeared centuries ago. On the obverse, the coin showcases the interior of the Sun Dagger cave, meticulously replicating its petroglyphs. Colored sunrays represent the Sun Dagger at summer solstice. Above the petroglyphs is the coat of arms with the inscriptions: “REPUBLIC OF PALAU” and “10$.” At the bottom of the obverse side is the inscription “2024.”
