Besides the incredible coastline and iconic Bondi Beach, an instantly recognizable world-famous landmark earns a special spot on the 2023 design – the Sydney Opera House. The architectural marvel, with its design famously reminiscent of ship’s sails in the harbor, was inaugurated by Queen Elizabeth II in 1973. An impressive detail is the sheer size of the opera house. At 185 meters long and 120 meters wide, it has roof sections weighing up to 15 tons and more than a million tiles on its dazzling roof.
