This beautiful 2-ounce silver coin is dedicated to one of the most famous paintings by Van Gogh: Irises.
The reverse of the coin presents the wonderful colored image of the famous painting “Irises”, one of several paintings of irises by the Dutch artist Vincent van Gogh. “Irises” is one of a series of paintings he made at the Saint Paul-de-Mausole asylum in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, France, in the last year before his death in 1890. The obverse of the coin features the Public Seal of Niue, along with the inscriptions: “2023” and “2 DOLLARS.”
The coin, in proof quality, has a vibrant coloration, partial gold gilding and comes in a themed case. Limited mintage of only 700 pieces worldwide.
