This is the 2nd issue in the Niue high relief series “Famous Assassinations” and it is dedicated to Julius Caesar.  Struck from 2 ounces of 0.999 pure silver, it features select 24K gilding on the reverse, a special 3D insert and antique finish.

In 44 BC, a notorious date, March 15^th, in Roman history, marks the assassination of Julius Caesar who was stabbed to death during a meeting of the Senate.
